Welcome to the Village of Walton Hills
The Village of Walton Hills is a progressive and proactive community located in southeastern Cuyahoga County just north of the Summit County line. We are in close proximity to I-271 and the Route 8 expressway. We have a population of approximately 2,200 residents. The Village encompasses a total of 7 squares miles. Approximately three square miles of Cleveland Metroparks’ Bedford Reservation and part of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park are located within the boundary lines of the Village.
The Village Officials consist of a Mayor, six Councilpersons-at-large, a Chief of Police, a Fiscal Officer, a Building Inspector and a Street Commissioner. A working contractual agreement with the Oakwood Village Fire Department serves the fire-fighting requirements of the Village and provides emergency medical service to the residents. Walton Hills is a semi-rural planned community. It is a community that provides its residents with the necessary services and affords them the opportunity of participating in planned recreational, social, business and civic organizations. Walton Hills is a friendly community where residents live in harmony as good neighbors and concerned citizens.
